LOVING India!

Hi everyone!

Status for me and India so far:
- Travelling with: Alexis from Belgium.
- Currently at: Kolkata for approx. 8 days (since my visa is running out at that time).
- Next location: I still don’t know! Why does everyone keep asking me that question? I’ll get there, folks. I promise. You’ll be the first ones to know.
- Likes and dislikes of India: LOVE the friendliness of the indians when I've been travelling from one place to another. Two boys helped me get of the train when it couldn't get to depot, walked with me along the rails and helped me get a rickshaw to a cheap guesthouse, wanting absolutely nothing i return. They even insisted on paying the rickshaw! I definitely do not like male indian strangers who comes to me in the streets, whispering in my ear 'so sexy'!

Been travelling Varanasi and Kolkata with Alexis. In Varanasi we also met up with Nakules from France who had lived in Varanasi for 12 years and was really getting into the funky indian baba-style lookwise. Both of them were SO cool and we hang around a lot in our guesthouse doing cardgames, yoga and cleansings. We lived along dogs and monkeys in a place that looked like an abandoned building, having a great view over the river Ganges. I could have stayed for ages if my expirering date wasn’t so soon.

India is great! I’m relaxed and are enjoying every day not knowing what will turn up next. My biggest problem these days is my hairsituation (I know, HUGE problem!). Since I forgot to comb, one big dreadlock has made its way into my hair and it won’t give in easily. I’ll let you know who wins the final battle.

Oh yeah, got a sitar by the way. I’m gonna be great playing that shit! You danish people watch out for some serious forced-listening every time you visit when I get back home!

LOVE.
Maj.

New beginning.

So… I’m on my own now…

Left Yog Peeth and all my friends behind. Said goodbye to Sasja who is going to meditation camp the next 6 days.

I don’t know what to think of the whole situation. Broke up with my boyfriend who had an appartment waiting for us, pushed all of my exams to who-knows-when, kinda just skipped my flight back home and now what? I guess I’m in between scared and excited. Still haven't decided if this decision is either crazy or brilliant.

I still don't know where I'm going and when I will return to Denmark. I hope the universe will send me some signs along the way. It usually does. I'll let you guys know, when I know myself.

One things for sure, there is no turning back now. I’m to curious to see what is waiting for me next. I’m scared being here all by myself, but even more scared, never knoing what was waiting for me.

Only one way to find out. See you guys later…

Gotta go!
